Ralph Diner in Worcester

Great place for drinks and a show.

If you love good diner food made with love at a (clean) greasy spoon, gritty live music, history and sticky floors, this is the place for you. If you care at all about supporting live music and the venues that try to contain them, Ralph's is a must.

Brought an out of town friend to this Worcester institution for their first night in town. Beer was cheap, food was cheap AND good, and the staff were kind and quick. What more could you want?

If you like good burgers and cheap beer this is a go to. this diner has two bars and also a bar upstairs where they have live bands. This is my personal favorite place to go and meet people and play pool. The bartenders are dope and take care of you. Great vibes and awesome people. 5 stars for sure.

Worcester's premier and oldest live music club in the city. Always something interesting. One caveat, beware in the summer if it is a warm day. There is no air conditioning upstairs where the band plays. There is AC in the diner and downstairs.

Punk rock place to be. Delicious food. I don't drink, but I've heard nothing but good things about that too. Tiny place but so very punkalicious. :)

What more can I say about Ralph's?! Been coming here, for the past 24 years and it never ceases to amaze me, how great this place is. Great food in the diner. Burgers and chili are the best! My personal favorite to see live local bands.

Probably the most raw place in Worcester. It is a mostly loving and accepting community there. Gotta be the best Karoke in town. It has a passionate group of regulars. The place is simply what it is: a grungy diner bar.

A fantastic and fun venue. The definition of "underground" music venue with it's rugged and rustic appearance. They get some excellent heavy metal and hard rock performers. Prices for drinks and cover are very good too.Not the most convenient location. And expect to bring cash. They do have an ATM on site but the bar tenders will not accept cards for payment.

absolutely love Ralph's diner I've been going to this place for over 15 years now the great thing about Ralph's diner is that the menu is super simple and always freaking delicious and it's the best after party spot to go do if you're at a show near the palladium. Great venue, great drinks, great staff. Phenomenal decor that will leave you finding something new every time you enter a room. Diverse events from The Dirty Gerund Poetry show, Punkcake, Bike Night, or just some amazing musical acts.

Great diner/dive bar with live music. The food menu is limited to burgers, dogs, chili and bags of assorted chips. Definitely one of my favorite places for a real, grilled, burger over an open flame. They usually have an assortment of live music generally towards the heavy metal side. The guys room is decorated with old school Playboy pages to keep you entertained while you do your thing. A few downsides are the parking lot sucks (potholes) and the draft beer is served in small, plastic, cups... Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

An absolute must visit hidden gem of Worcester. A classic dive bar in terms of visual appeal with great live music sets and the best money to drunk ratio around. Don't miss this.

established rock club fun vibe/decor cheap brews!

Grungy rock bar in Worcester. We catch shows here a couple times a year. They support the local music scene with an upstairs bar and stage. Bathrooms are not the best, hence the word grungy. $2 beers. 1 pool table down stairs. No wheelchair access. Will return!

Killer burger, and great live music.

This is the best Diner that exists. It is a diner in every sense of the word. You are allowed to dine here so that makes it a diner, which is good. I am happy to be here and dine here. P.S. (post script)They also serve beer which is very good and cheap

I enjoy Ralph's, but it's mainly for serious Heavy Metal fans.Thursday night I ended up in a fight (the first one in over 20yrs) and they only had one security guard that was in no hurry to get the guy out of there.But they have great bands , but now I hesitate to go back.

Totally Worcester! There are a number of proverbial institutions in this town. Ralph's is near the top of the heap in its uniqueness. Best live music and best cheeseburger in town!

This is an old boxcar diner turned into a dive bar. A hidden gem in the city where they play live music, serve cheap drinks and make a very good burger! There's two pool tables and a couple of classic arcade machines.

Called to find out what time the kitchen closes. We got there 5 minutes after phone call to be told the kitchen just closed! They were very rude & unprofessional. Would not go back if everything was free

I love Ralph's. It's vaguely cheap, has amazing burgers, their adherence to corporate restaurant hospitality standards are non-existent, the Wi-Fi is fast, and the menu has 4 items. It's not Friday's. That's exactly why you come here.

Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff with a classic dive bar feel

Ralph's is a great bar and live music venue. I have been going to this establishment for many years now and the staff have always been friendly. Lots of free parking and lots to see inside, it is decorated quite wildly indoors. I believe it is one of the best places to catch live music in the city, Steve the sound guy kicks ass. Highly recommended.

Well it's exterior makes it look like a dive bar, It's actually an exceptionally nice dive bar. They're open every day of the year, often have live music and have very good food. The beer selection is adequate, and they do have fair prices.

I didn’t eat here but saw a band playing upstairs and enjoyed the venue. Small place, bar, music and fun times.

The quintessential Worcester dive. Built around an old worcester diner car, this place is the ultimate place to watch a live show, play some pool or just suck down some $1.50 beers. The outdoor patio rocks, and you have to check out the pool area around back. Sneak into the men's bathroom too if you get the chance. Cant reccomend this place enough as long as youve got cash (no cards accepted!!)

Local dive bar. They have karaoke on Wednesdays, and metal and other genres on other days of the week. Staff is friendly, and early in the day they show awful (great) horror movies. A spot for a lot of locals to go. Friendly locals too! Reminds me a lot of Mcgarveys in Manchester. Would recommend to anyone that likes the scene.

The burgers are good. A little small inside but friendly. Cold beer.

Ralph’s. LOL. Have a burger while water drips on your head. Tip the sound guy extra to sound good. Tip him again and you’ll get your cables back. Trash bags over monitors FTW!!!!
